Sights marginally seen and moments almost not perceived were the catalyst of this black bird series. A glimpse of the bird’s motion within a flicker of time, and the helter-skelter of activity  is what I hoped these photographs portray. To me they symbolize to the chaos and noise that surrounds our everyday lives. With so many distractions and noise around us, it is difficult to keep our focus. On another level, I find mystery and beauty in the blurs and shadows of this series. I use blurs and motion to soften the details. I am interested in impressions not precise copies of the realities. The toning and rounded corners are used to give a nostalgia feel to the images.
