Time intrigues me.

Whether it is capturing very short slivers of time or long extended exposures, photography allows one to witness and even study life that would normally be impossible without a camera.

Additionally, I am captivated by light, especially the clean light in West Texas. The light in this part of the world can be harsh and crisp. There is a cutting edge to it, but at certain times in the dawn and dusk, there also is real beauty to its color.

If the ingredients of photography are light and time, then the soul is in its mystery. Great photographs ask more than they answer. I like questions. Actually, I like questions more than answers.

In order to make a successful photograph there are two things I want to do: I want to share my view of the world, and I want people to respond.
